Inclusivity Statement.

Here at Ace Driving School, we firmly believe in equality. With this in mind, over the years we have supported many students with a range of different abilities through their driving test. We have helped students with hearing issues, a range of learning difficulties, and other issues. In addition, we have provided the RSA with material to help them support students with hearing problems to take the driving test.

Within the group, we have a range of resources that can be used to help people learn how to drive. This includes: specially developed written information, ISL and Makaton signers, (we have developed an in-car sign language too). In addition we experience of a range of disabilities drawn from a range of backgrounds, including teaching people with dyslexia, dyspraxia, hearing issues and more.

With a view to build on this we also have an ADI who has a disability, so this brings a more personal understanding of living with a disability. The ADI is fully qualified and brings personal experience of coping with a disability. The instructor can draw on to help students cope with getting through the driving test process.
